In Which Nauseous Substances are Involved

As usual, my commentary is in italics, except for dialogue. Rosalene wakes up to a bright dawn. She heads into the house, noting that the dead squirrel's smell has reached all the way to the house's entrance now. Minor nitpick: how is the smell of a dead animal getting there? Isn't the house situated on a fairly high cliff? To say nothing of the effect of winds potentially blowing away from its front. Inside the house, she heads to the kitchen and finds Neil talking on the phone. Dr. Watts: No, I understand that part, but-- Dr. Watts: ...Okay. Did you confirm it in his records? Dr. Watts: And why again was this information not made available to us? Dr. Watts:  (angrily exclaiming) Or the medical doctor, for that matter! Dr. Rosalene:  (approaching Watts) Where did you get that coffee? Dr. Watts: (looking at Rosalene)  Shhh! Dr. Rosalene: Are you speaking with headquarter? Dr. Watts: (forcefully facing Rosalene) Yes! I'll fill you in after! Dr. Watts: (annoyedly) Now

In Which Deja Vu Occurs Repeatedly

As usual, my commentary is in italics, except for dialogue.  Act 2 We cut to Johnny's bedroom back in present day. Lily attempts to talk with Rosalene, but is interrupted by the third doctor, telling her that they need to concentrate and so shouldn't be disturbed. Then we cut to Johnny's first memory, where the doctors ask Johnny about his wish. We catch him towards the end of his account. John: ...And that's all this old fool knows, heh. Sorry I can't be of more help. Dr. Rosalene: Then that'll have to be enough. Dr. Watts: Aye, all that's left to do is linking your registered desire to go to the moon to your early memories. Dr. Watts: Then we'll pull the switch, and voila! You'll be on the moon in no time. - Rosalene moves towards Watts to initiate the procedure, but Johnny interrupts them. John: ...I have a question. - Both doctors look towards him. John: If you could make Lily disappear, that means you can alter this world. - A moment of si

In Which Memory Links go Defunct

As usual, my commentary is in italics, except for dialogue. Last time, the doctors warped into a school hallway, where they could see River reading something while Johnny and Nicolas were talking to each other. As soon as they warp in, they hear Nicolas exclaiming something. Nicolas: (exclaiming) C'mon dude, grow some balls! Dr. Watts: Erm... - The scene shifts to the two teenagers talking. Johnny: It's not that... Look, maybe this wasn't such a good idea. Nicolas: Oh sheesh, what could possibly happen? Nicolas: Just think about it! Worst case scenario: she says no. Nicolas: You strut on like nothing happened; no one'll know and everyone'll still think you're cool. Johnny:  (nervously exclaiming) But what if she tells someone?! Johnny: (raising arms) Or yells at me?! Dr. Watts:  (yelling) DON'T BE A LITTLE WUSS!! Johnny: (fully raising his arms, up to his face) Or... or says yes but really means no?! Nicolas:  (enthusiastically) Psh, quit worrying. Who

In Which We Watch Movies

As usual, my commentary is in italics, except for dialogue. Last time, the doctors warped into the middle of a road with fields on the sides through a dead rabbit. They look around briefly, then talk. Dr. Rosalene: Poor thing. What's with all the roadkills today? Dr. Watts: Don't you look at me like that. - Rosalene turns towards Watts, then to the rabbit. Dr. Rosalene: Smells like a farm. Dr. Watts: And roadkill. - Watts turns away from Rosalene. Dr. Watts: Deactivate the scent simulator or get away from here already. You might be wondering if the doctors forgot to say something about the rabbit here having little to no relation with the rabbit killed during the wedding. In fact the rabbit memento is given almost no attention from this point onward, even though it's clearly an absurd connection. You might be thinking that perhaps it has some significance in this memory, but as it will soon become apparent, it is of little if any relevance. Furthermore, this incident h
